Legend of the numbering of our nystagmus glasses
The TYPES of our nystagmus spectacles are identified by three digits.
The first digit is always “5” or “7”:
> “5” without bayonet connection for short-term examinations>
> “7” with bayonet connection for short-term and long-term examinations
The second digit represents the color of the glasses:
> “0” means black and direct illumination. This type of illumination was developed by Prof. Frenzel.
> “2” means white and indirect illumination. This type of illumination was developed by Dr. Blessing.
The third digit stands for:
> “1” fixed connection cable + fixed glasses
> “2” fixed connection cable + hinged glasses
> “3” adjustable battery grip + fixed lenses
